Event Description

Fall for the Book is an annual festival held in September at George Mason University. It is a series of events held throughout five consecutive days, during which the residents of the county of Fairfax and the surrounding greater areas of Northern Virginia, D.C., and Maryland, are invited to come and experience literature at a more hands-on level. Fall for the Book provides people with the opportunity to attend lectures, book signings, and receptions with esteemed and renowned authors. This year's participants include such literary stars as Alice Walker, Jane Hirshfield, and Michael Chabon.
