Does anyone know if anyone is intending to run The Chunkster Challenge in 2009. If no one is already doing so, I may well be interested in running it. There hasn't been any activity around this years challenge since early in the year.

I'm doing the same thing. I just started, so I don't have many reviews, but it has been fun so far.

Reading the Booker Prize.

Hi everyone,

I've decided to host a graphic novels challenge at http://graphicnovelschallenge.blogspot.com/.

I know that Dewey hosted this challenge last year, and as far as I can tell no one else has decided to host a similar challenge. So until I hear different, I'm going with it! Please check it out. It is a really flexible challenge, so it will be good if you are unfamiliar with the genre or if you love it.

Literary Escapism is hosting the New Authors Challenge - http://www.literaryescapism.com/new-author-challenge/

Anyone can join at any time. It's simple and easy - pick the number of New to you Authors you want to read in 2009. I did 50 this year and I'm doing it again next year. People who have been signing up are doing anywhere between 10-50 authors.

I'm hosting a Nonfiction books challenge called the Dewey Decimal Challenge. The premise is to read 1 book from each of the Dewey centuries through the year. They don't have to be in order, they don't have to come from the library either. They just have to be nonfiction, and not all memoirs. =)

I am hosting Spiritually Speaking Challenge on my blog, Reading Extravaganza. All the rules are here, it is still not too late to join and I am giving away a book at the end of the challenge to one random participant.

I'm hosting a Ban on Spending challenge, lol! The basic premise is to not purchase books until your TBR pile is read. Books received for reviews are not included in the pile, but books won are. So far there's only a few people willing to sign up for not buying books, but the challenge is open, and runs through the end of the year.

Heya I'm hosting a charity reading challenge called The Year of Readers and while we're two months into the year it's never too late to join and raise money for your favourite book charity.

I have just a fun challenge idea in the works called 'The Pioneer Challenge' so I'll let you know more about that as I work it out.

I'm hosting a giveaway for Blue Bloods open to US residents until Feb. 28. I usually run a giveaway every 2 week or so. I think Gods Behaving Badly might be my first March giveaway.
