As this is a community for book bloggers, I thought it would be a good idea to get a post going where bloggers can discuss their blogs. Ideally feel free to comment with the title and a link to your blog as well as a brief summary of what kinds of material you generally blog about (e.g. young adult, nonfiction, romance etc.).

That's great! I'm always on the lookout for great online bookstores as it's quite difficult to get certain books here in Malaysia. Some of the book prices are ok, but the shipping is usually the killer, and also the exchange rate recently. I'm happy that you ship internationally, but I'd be really happy if shipping to my country is in the lower ranges of $7 to $2 for shipping to the rest of the world. =)

I read everything, romance, YA, classics, mysteries, fantasies, sci-fi, non-fiction... so my book blog is quite generalized. I do read some books more than others though, and I have phases where I read only fantasy, or only romance, or only YA, etc, it really depends on my moods. I do try to give helpful reviews about the books I read, and also recommendations of other books that relate to the book. My book blog's here, if you want to take a look for yourself.

I've also set up an online book chat blog, where readers can read a chosen book together a month, and then get together in an online chat room in real time to discuss the book. I started it because I couldn't find a real-life book group, and this was my effort in trying to re-create a real-life book group as closely as I can on the internet. =) Take a look at the book chat blog here, if anyone's interested in a real-time book discussion group.

I'm excited to see this list and will have lots of fun browsing everybody's blog. I love reading new blogs, and reading about what other people are reading!

My blog is: elizabethwillse.wordpress.com

Also, I am a guest editor and sometimes blogger at Women's Voices For Change, www.womensvoicesforchange.org
It's a nonprofit organization, and is a news, commentary and opinion website that celebrates women's health, beauty, wisdom and vibrancy.
Sometimes I talk about, or review books on the site. And I'm always looking for good stories to share or link to there.

My book, ‘A Blind Man’s Map of Mumbai’, has just been published By Scholastic India. I have put up some info about it on the net (on my NEW website, http://www.vivektandon.com!) but am still not really blog-friendly. Is there any way blogging can help me promote my book?

Since I have been with no work for quite a while I started browsing Internet more frequently than usual. Through that browsing I realized that there are actual book blogs lol so I decided to have my own and join the blogging community.
I would love people to visit my blog, leave their comments on my revies and especially suggestions on what is missing and what I could do better.

My blog is www.elizabethwillse.wordpress.com
I post book reviews, including an ongoing collection of my press clips and features for the Newark Star-Ledger and other publications. I also use my blog as a place to think out loud about books and reading habits, and some of the cultural shifts that mark the literary world.

I am a contributing editor at Women's Voices For Change I write newsmixes and features content for them, add multimedia to board members' posts, and also publicize the site.

I am building a career as a freelance writer, and always looking for professional writing opportunities, and new venues to hone my writing skills. My dream job would be to find a staff position as a book reviewer and features writer. But in the meantime, I'm working on building a freelance career.

I host an author interview talk show and companion blog called Words To Mouth "Where readers meet authors beyond the printed page...and win FREE Books" ~ http://www.WordsToMouth.com

I offer podcast audio author interviews, written interviews, reviews, and multiple contests. Where I think we can help each other: I would love to have you email me guest book reviews that I can post on my site and link back to yours. The details are provided here: http://wordstomouth.com/?p=171. I hope you agree it's a mutually beneficial proposition, because you can help me provide more books & content to my subscribers and I can help build your audience by putting your name "in lights" and cross-promoting via links. My primary audience is women over 25 and they seem most into women's fiction, novels, memoirs, romance, historical fiction, and non-fiction. But, I've thrown some other genres at them that have been well-rec'd, so I'm open.

Looking forward to hearing from you,
Carrie

I've been blogging for over 2 years, but lost many of my reviews when I changed hosts. I'm currently archived from Feb 08'. I read historical fiction, obviously, but prefer certain periods: Medieval, Tudor England, French Revolution, Regency. I do branch out here and there. I get many ARCs, so many books are not of my choosing (though I usually enjoy them).

I have been blogging for a little over a year I think. I usually read and review books in the Christian market both ficton and nonfiction but I do read others as well. I am a nut for regency novels and chicklit.

I started Write by Faith as a place for me to write my thougths about my faith but it developed quickly into a book blog and I wouldn't have it any other way. i love to read and always have a book with me so why not share with others all the books I read.

I love having the author interviews and getting to know the people behind the books.
