Elizabeth McCracken's AN EXACT REPLICA OF A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION blog tour update!!!!

The Early Bird Blog Tours Group is so great, here is Miriam Parker's write up on the recent blog tour:
Last week members of the Early Bird Blog Tours Group participated in an emotional blog tour ran for Elizabeth McCracken's AN EXACT REPLICA OF A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION. Reviews and features included:

"It is utterly powerful and unforgettable." -Blog.literarily.com (Post includes author interview.)

"Below are the comments of some women who were willing to share their feelings and reactions to McCracken's book. They have all lost a child. Some have lost more than one. Some were able to go on to have a pregnancy with a different outcome, a happier outcome. Some are still waiting for that opportunity." -Books in Every Room (Post includes contributions from six women reflecting on the loss of a child)

"While the subject matter is at times very difficult to read, I highly recommend reading AN EXACT REPLICA OF A FIGMENT OF MY IMAGINATION. It is a beautifully written memoir that will definitely touch you. I know this book will continue to remain in my thoughts for quite awhile after reading it. " -BookingMama.blogspot.com

"This book's strength lies with its unerring ability to relate unimaginable grief and love that leaves no room for anything except empathy and understanding. In sharing her story with us, Elizabeth McCracken shares how we can support ourselves and those we love through the trials of heartbreaking loss." -LinussBlanket.typepad.com

"The writing is so crisp and with such biting wit. I had not anticipated a narration of such a somber subject to be so clever and tender. One minute I am weeping and the next I am laughing out loud." -CorinnesBookReviews.blogspot.com

"It is a story of true love and unfathomable sadness. It is a story of true of couragous recovery and bittersweet moments, of steadfast memories and deep affection. It is a story of the importance of friendship. It is a story of happiness and hope." -38thavedivareaders.blogspot.com

"You'll find yourself drawn in and absorbed by McCracken's sensitive narration of her experiences of pregnancy and childbirth. It's a sad book, but also a hopeful book and I'm sure many people who've been through a miscarriage or stillbirth will be able to relate to her story." -BostonBibliophile.com

"By reading this book , I think we all can learn a few things about ourselves and those around us that mean the most to us." -AllisonsAttic.blogspot.com

"As powerful as Elisabeth McCracken's memoir is, it is endearing, hopeful, sad and unique...In reading it I felt encouraged, and uplifted, the way Elizabeth puts it down really mostly makes you think. It makes you see things in a new light, and from the angle of someone who has gone through loss. Ya gotta read it!!" -ExLibrisBB.blogspot.com

"If I was someone who regularly cried through books, this one would have had me going the entire way. As it was, it was so sad, like a window into the soul of this woman whose first child was stillborn. I recognize the feelings of a bereaved parent perhaps better than most, having watched my parents go through it, and she struck perfectly, painfully true." -Chikune.com

"Whether you are a parent or not, this is a personal and moving memoir that will touch you." -Luanne-ABookWormsWorld.blogspot.com

"I can't recommend this book highly enough. It is beautifully written, honest, emotional, and full of the wonder of life. It is McCracken's tribute to her unborn child, so that she, and everyone else, will always remember what she had and what she lost." -SKrishnasBooks.com (post includes interview question answered by McCracken)

"I was in awe of the woman who handled the horrible tragedy with such grace." -TheBookGirl.net

" I found this to be an incredibly moving journey." -LibraryQueue.blogspot.com
