We Interrupt This Broadcast: 10th Anniversary Edition

Hey Everyone--

I have a really great book up for review right now: The New York Times bestselling multimedia book, We Interrupt This Broadcast: The Events That Stopped Our Lives…From the Hindenburg Explosion to the Virginia Tech Shooting by Joe Garner is back with new events, photos and audio in its tenth anniversary edition.

The tenth anniversary edition of We Interrupt This Broadcast has been updated to include the defining events of the past five years, including the start of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Hurricane Katrina, and the Virginia Tech shootings.

The book features three audio CDs narrated by veteran journalist Bill Kurtis that contain more than two hours of rare original broadcasts of forty-six famous and infamous moments in history, more than 250 photos, new interviews with newsmakers, and an afterword from NBC’s Brian Williams. Please contact me (danielle.jackson@sourcebooks.com) to request a review copy of this amazing collection of media events that shaped the way broadcast journalism has evolved and changed history! Reviews should be posted beginning the week of November 10, 2008. I hope to hear from you soon!

Best,
Danielle

This multimedia book sounds interesting, but I'm not sure I want to re-live the Virginia Tech shootings. My son is a student at Tech and he was there during the shootings on April 16, 2007.
I would love to review, but I know I can't post a review by the week of the 10th.
Like Nicole, I'm interested but I don't thing I could get the book and have it reviewed by the 10th. Sounds really interesting though!!
Hey Everyone--

We're aiming for reviews to be up the week of November 10th--not specifically that Monday. So if a review went up on November 14th (or even the following Monday, 11/17 at the latest), I would not be opposed to sending you a review copy of the book--and making sure you get it by the weekend! Send me an email at danielle.jackson@sourcebooks.com and we can talk specifics!

Thanks for everyone's interest,
Danielle
I sent you an email Danielle.
Sorry about the email Danielle. I thought the book review was late but I see that I am not. Phew. It will be posted on Monday the 10th during the day. Thanks again.
