the read-a-thon

Dewey asked for a little help in getting out the word on her upcoming Read-a-thon. Is there a more perfect place to bring it up than hear amongst all you wonderful book lovers?!! If you haven't yet heard about it, do check it out here. It's happening the weekend of June 28th-29th. I participated during the first one, and had a ball! So who's up for it?

Ah, I'd love to, but... I've committed to do Mother Reader's 48 hour challenge, and that's about all I can take for non-stop reading in a month. I followed along with Dewey's last challenge, and I'll probably follow along with this one. Maybe next time. :)

I'm so bummed that I'm going to miss it again :( Late June = finals, and my very last one is on the 30th. I guess I could participate with linguistics textbooks, but that wouldn't make for the most interesting posts :P

I really want to do this...I just need to see if my hubby wants to let me go somewhere quiet (and stay home with the kids!) for 24 hours...I will keep my fingers crossed!

I don't know if I want to do it for the full 24 hours...he did say yes, that he would watch the kids for the whole time though! Just wondering how I would feel after....after not having slept for 24 hours!
