Who is using which? How do they compare? Does anyone use more that one? I've started using LT which I really like. Then found Goodreads and I've found the other participants are more active in GR than LT. AND then I found Shelfari and I really like their cool bookshelf for the widget but there's a lot of advertising. I really have attempted to analyze any but if you have strong pros or cons about any of these or know of others, please share.
I like LT, but I cannot justifying paying for it with goodreads and shelfari also being available. Goodreads is my absolutely favorite, it's just so much more friendly than shelfari. I use Shelfari too, but I have had a lot of nightmares with it, when it doesn't do what I tell it to. There is one book that every time I log on it's on my "now reading" list. The tech support has tried to figure it out and is baffled. Oh well. *sigh*
I use both library thing and goodreads, although I use library thing much more than good reads. To me the library thing user interface is much easier and quicker to add books than good reads.
As far as ads go, I do not see any ads on Library Thing and I never recieve emails from them. I have gotten ad emails from Good Reads which is a little annoying.

I've been using goodreads for about a year now and I love it. I recently opened an account on LT, but I don't like the interface nearly as much. GR has been adding new features every month. It is simple to use and provides lots of great ways to sort and categories your books.
I'm using Shelfari, I like the widget that they provide for blogs. You get to show what you've read, currently reading or plan to read. I'm also on Reading Social which is connected to facebook, that's where all my friends are connected to as well. I've just added on GoodReads, am still testing it out.
I love Goodreads and have not tried the others (because I'm totally satisfied with Goodreads).
I would love to import my Excel 'library' document into Goodreads but have not come that far ;-)
I'm on GoodReads and LT, but LT is really the one I use and visit daily, in fact I find the message boards very interesting and I'm keeping track of the books I've read this year on the 75 book challenge thread. I was able to import my LT library into Good Reads and I have a few friends at GoodReads, but I can't say I really bother much with it. I adore LT and it's introduced me to so many books I otherwise would never have known about. I like the layout and the way you can tag, and I'm always tinkering around with my library there and adding books or doing searches.
I much prefer the user friendly system of Goodreads.
Goodreads has AWESOME book giveaways too!
I've had a lot more interaction on Goodreads and have had MANY offers from GR's Authors to review their books.
I'm definitely leaning towards Goodreads if I had to pick only one.
Make sure you check out both of the FREE book Giveaways/Contests on my book review blog!! :-) Book Reviews By Bobbie
