Hi All,
I'm a elementary/middle school library media specialist - grades 4 - 6. Just wondering how many of the Book Blog members are as interested in children's literature as I am. I've noticed a YA group and was hoping there were enough members to keep a children's group going. I'm seeing more adult readers posting - me too!

I've been reading more children's lit lately. I have been spending some weekends with my 8 year old cousin and I have been trying to come up with books that are age appropriate, so I have been revisiting a lot of my old favorites. I probably don't read enough of them to be of much help in a group, but I would love to see what children's books people recommend. I love The Boxcar Children and The Little House Books. I also recently read Song of the Trees by Mildred Taylor, and enjoyed it.

I would join a Children's Lit group. I have a toddler, and I read with elementary students, so I can always use a good recommendation or give a recommendation for Children's Lit.

I am because I have young children and I like to keep up what books they're currently reading.
