Thanks for the plug Michelle; I got a few sales yesterday and I think your post is the reason why. Thanks for spreading the word!
I am accepting review requests for books published by indie publishers although not self-published books.
Marian, thanks so much for posting this thread! Any book blogger that wants to be added to the list and get more followers and/or review copies from publishers and authors, please contact me. I will add them to the list-- I had about 8 new additions in December but no new book bloggers in January yet.
You can contact me here: http://www.stepbystepselfpublishing.net/contact.html or send me a message through Book Blogs, but don't forget to include your e-mail so I can contact you back!
I'd like to share my blog, The Frugal eReader. I feature Frugal Finds Under Nine for the Kindle, and include many indie authors as featured posts. I also have sponsorship and advertising opportunities available for those that may be interested.
To learn more about The Frugal eReader, please visit my blog: http://www.thefrugalereader.com
If you would like to learn more about submitting your novel, please visit the Submissions page here: http://www.thefrugalereader.com/p/submissions.html
If you would like to learn more about the sponsorship and advertising opportunities, please visit this link: http://www.thefrugalereader.com/p/become-sponsoradvertise.html
Please stop by ~ and I hope you enjoy it!
I tried all of these links and want to inform everyone that the ONLY one of these that are currently accepting self published books for consideration WITHOUT paying $200+ for a sponsorship package (a bit steep when you have just launched your first book) is The Indie Spotlight. The others either require you to not be self published or are simply out of business.
Two years since this was originally posted DOES make a difference!
The IndieView has 100s of free reviewers who will accept self-published books.
Though if anyone is going to use the list I'd recommend checking the reviewers website for up to date review guidelines. I've recently been getting a fair few e-mails from author using similar list sites who have obviously not bothered to read my review guidelines or have come from out of date lists.
