We’re going to get a first draft completed of that story concept which has been knocking on our door for months.

Against All Odds Writing Challenge

90 days in length, May 15th – August 15th
Target goal: 65,000 word first draft. This should be completely new material. (approx. daily word count: 723words.) WE CAN DO THIS

Participants will post their individual progress reports online on Saturday or Sunday of each week. This information will be tracked in our database and those reaching the target word count of 65,000 words by August 15thwill be awarded the Against All Odds Badge of Excellence to post on their blogs, websites, etc. (This is a honorary system. Please be truthful with yourself and others by reporting accurate word counts.)

If we laready have a book in progress, does that count?

As long as the word count you submit in the challenge is new material. So you could add an additional 65,000 words to a work already in progress. Hope that makes sense. :)

I had already planned this sort of thing for myself, and company would be nice but you lost me at the $2 USD registration fee. Among other things, I'm not American and I don't currently use Paypal.
