I just wonder if anyone is in Amazon associate program. How is that working for you? What kind of products are selling the most and so on. Please share your experience. Thanks.
I have just listed some of the best sellers at my blog.

I have an associates account. I like offering the convenience to my readers to go ahead and buy the books if they want them. For the most part people buy books. Ebook are more popular since they are generally cheaper. I don't make much off of it, but like I said, it's a nice convenience for my readers. And I make more around the holidays and such.

Permalink Reply by DrDLN on April 18, 2012 at 12:44pm I have another question, as I am new to associate program. When you sell your books through associate program, do you get extra commission in addition to usual 70% royalty???
Here's my amazon widget link: http://bit.ly/IW6udp

I am in the amazon associate program. The part is that if you a t.v with internet on it you can stream movies to it. The bad part I don't like about it, is that I got for books, but only find out that I could only get one book a month!
Permalink Reply by ManOfLaBook.com on April 20, 2012 at 7:41am I think that's Amazon Prime.

I don't sell a great deal of products with my affiliates account. My most lucrative product is the leather Kindle lighted cover, as it is quite expensive so the cut is a decent size.
On one occasion, people who bought things using my affiliate ID also went on to be really grubby erotica. I was not happy, but although you can control what you link to, there doesn't seem to be an option to avoid gaining commission of products you don't agree with.
Permalink Reply by Renee Shelton on April 20, 2012 at 10:23pm Hi there, I have an Amazon accociate account. I'm from California and for awhile it was shut down due to a state tax dispute. It is up and running again, and for the reason ManoflaBook mentioned is why I prefer Amazon over the Barnes and Noble associate program for books (actually through linkshare) - you get a commission from whatever they purchase, which may or may not be the book you're talking about, or about a book at all. For example someone bought tire rims awhile ago. Since I only have books on all my sites, they started out with a book and ended up buying something for their car. Sweet deal for me.
BTW I'm a new follower of yours. :)

Permalink Reply by Anna Weber on April 21, 2012 at 4:25pm I have been in the program for a very long time; always just for books, and your success will depend on two primary things... how big is the list to whom you market and
how consistently and frequently you market.

I used Adsense for two months on my blog . I wasn't happy because some of the ads were not relevant to my blog..They interrupted the flow of posts and I made very little money. I have over 8,000 page views and I thought for sure the ads would bring in some revenue. Once in awhile they threw in a politcal ad which I really didn't like. I did try to contact them but had little response. Frankly I think Amazon Associate makes more sense for me on my book blog...maybe not a lot of "cents" but at least it's relevant.
