I just wonder if anyone is in Amazon associate program. How is that working for you? What kind of products are selling the most and so on. Please share your experience. Thanks.

I have just listed some of the best sellers at my blog.

Here's my blog: http://drdhillon.blogspot.com/   I will follow those who will follow me. Thanks.

I am an Amazon Associate and have been for about three months. I have a blog with over 7,000 page views but my Amazon sales are VERY disappointing. I offer the Amazon Search box as I consider it a convenience so readers can order directly from my blog...I also have a kindle ad and some specials. I'm looking for some good sellers too...so thanks for the question.

I will follow you...

Hi Joyce, I would love to follow you, but your link doesn't take me to follow page.  Excuse my ignorance.

Thanks for the offer. I will reciprocate any following.

Just click on this link http://www.JSSHERR.blogspot.com
When you get on my blog scroll down the sidebar until you come to Followers and click on "join this site"......
It should work...THANKYOU...

I just did. It worked. Hope you do the same.

I have an associates account and I make enough to pay for the blog and maybe buy a few books a year. I keep experimenting with what works etc.

I read a lot about affiliate marketing, there is no magic bullet, some of the things I try work, some fail miserably but I keep refining and tuning.

I just joined and prepared this widget. I think it's cool. Wish you all the best. Please keep sharing your experience with associate program and see if we can help each other by posting each others' links.>

I need help. If you notice there is "eBook Publishing and Marketing Guide" by S Harper. I like to remove it. Does anyone know how to remove from this widget? Thanks.

You  really have a great blog....User friendly and well thought out...

How do you get the small Amazon ads that you have in your sidebar? There are four that form a square.

Joyce @ http://www.jssherr.blogspot.com

Thanks for the kind words Joyce, love your blog as well.

The four ads are on the template for the blog. I'm a software engineer so I massed around with the template code but I don't recommend doing it. Actually it's quite easy to do in HTML as well.

To be honest, I don't get any traffic from them.

I've been an Amazon Associate for over a year now and haven't had a payout yet.  I review a lot of books, so I link those books to my associate account - if someone wants to buy the book I've reviewed, it's easy for them.  I recently started putting other Amazon ads on my blog too but so far haven't seen any huge increase in earnings.  I'd love to know what ManOfLaBook does that he's so successful with this program.

You can see an example of how I've used the Amazon ads on my recent post: http://thekoalabearwriter.blogspot.ca/2012/04/book-review-by-faith-....  Also notice the ad in the sidebar.

Bonnie Way     I'm familiar with ManofLaBook..He has a fabulous blog and a bookstore on the blog which I assume is powered by Amazon. I don't think three or four ads can generate much revenue...at least for me it hasn't..I look at it now as a convenience for my blog readers until I get some business going....and I have a lot of page views too..but it hasn't made much difference..

Thank you for the kind words ladies.

Bonnie I checked out your blog and couldn't find anywhere to buy a book.

I have several avenues to make money from Amazon Associates, my blog, the store (it's an Amazon store) links on articles I write, another blog just for free books (http://nomoneyebooks.blogspot.com), Twitter and more. Honestly the money is not worth my time but I like to do it and hopefully in a few years it would turn out to be a nice side income.

The great thing about Amazon Associates, and the reason I decided to concentrate on them vs. other affiliates, is that once you forward someone to Amazon you get a cut of whatever they buy even if it's not the product you linked them to.

And remember, try different things, see what works. You can create up to 99 different Amazon tracking IDs. For example, I track what I sell on Twitter, Google+, Facebook and even from the book cover pictures on my blog vs. the text links.
