Anyone reviewing experimental fiction? Or want to?

(Opportunity--see posts below)

I didn't notice much of that being reviewed here, yet, but I'm new, still looking around.

I was asked for a list of professional reviews of a book, and that made me wonder--how many of you consider yourselves to be in that category? I would imagine it would be mean formally reviewing for magazines regularly, maybe actually for pay?

I might be in that category, though, so far, I've only been paid to review movies.

Does it count if I reviewed two novels for a bookstore's free newsletter and got paid in a gift cheque? =P

But I remember that when I was still trying to get my foot in the door, one editor accepted a blog post as a writing sample. Thank goodness, because even though it wasn't professional, it was the only clip I had!
That's inventive, a bookstore's newsletter.

I think professional or non-professional are both just fine categories. It's hard to say exactly what constitutes them.

Is anyone actually making money from Adsense on blogs? I suppose that is one way it would work to become considered pro, but that seems a long shot to me, as it seems to work so rarely for people.
I have a website called Experimental Writing, http://experimentalwriting.weebly.com/ which is a resource full of links of articles, presses, magazines, books, lists, sites, etc. about experimental fiction primarily, but also poetry and non fiction.

I'm opening it up to exclusive content, editors, publishers, authors, reviewers, etc, who want to write a little something about what's up. I'd be interested in guest bloggers putting in a post about innovative, avant-garde writing, say reviewing a book, but I'm open to other ideas as well.

The site also includes a contest I'm running, for experimental short stories. It's news in the writing world if any of you mention that kind of thing in your blogs, or would like to pass it around on social networks to people you think might be interested in entering. I'm happy to write about it or the site for anyone's blog that has an interest in that genre.
