Hi. I'm new here. I was hoping to get some author suggestions as well as series suggestions.

My favorite genres are:

  • Contemporary Romance
  • Romantic Suspense
  • Young Adult
  • New Adult

I hope I'm not breaking any rules by posting this here. If so, please message me and let me know. My blog link is: Tyhada's Bookshelf.

Thank you! I look forward to your suggestions.

For adult romance and romantic suspense, my all-time favorite is Linda Howard.  (She does some historical as well, but you can skip those unless you really get into her stuff, then give it a try. She's written stuff I wouldn't normally like, but she wrote it, so I do.)

Catherine Anderson is good for straight up contemporary romance  if you like it sweet.

Maya Banks for suspense...been reading her KGI series and enjoying it quite a bit.

Thanks so much, Christine!

I'm just delving into book blogging and current YA authors myself. There are so many out there. I followed your blog. Looks great!

Thank You, Henry!

OMG have you read Sea of Tranquility by Katja Millay yet?  Amazing or Reason to Breathe and Barely Breathing by Rebecca Donovan?

Hi Abigail. I haven't read any of your suggestions but, I'm looking forward to checking them out. Thanks for your reply. :-)

Presumptuous, but here is my website www.dawndyson.com :) Romance Suspense and will send books to reviewers. Thanks!

Thanks for your reply, Dawn!

Hi Tyhada,

I'm new to Book Blogs as well and (hoping I'm not breaking any rules by doing this, either) I'd love to recommend my new romantic comedy "Christmas in Wine Country". Just published last week, it's #8 in Amazon's "Hot New Releases" in Single Women's Fiction (that's chick lit to you and me :)

Here's a link to it -- just 0.99 cents -- http://www.amazon.com/Christmas-in-Wine-Country-ebook/dp/B00A9I292U...

Since you like contemporary romance books, I feel confident recommending it as the perfect read this holiday season. Curl up with a glass of wine or a mug of hot chocolate and enjoy!

Thank you,

Addison Westlake

Thanks for your reply, Addison. I'll be sure to check out your book. :)

Hope you enjoy!

http://www.publishamerica.net/product50379.html is a new release and is really underground. It's called High School Bites by Rachael Marie and it's for the Teen Paranormal Romance crowd, like Twilight status only there's no sparkly creatures lol
