Hi Everyone!
  I KNOW there are plenty of people celebrating Banned Books Week out there, so tell me... How are you spreading the word? All week, I'll be highlighting Banned Books at Chick with Books, and I'd love to know what you're doing on your blogs! Share a link! I'd love to visit and I'm sure I'm not the only one!

Here's my link to the beginning of Banned Book Week:

Enjoy the week!

I don't have anything special planned. However, I too wrote a post about Banned Books Week and book censorship in general.

I also joined the official Banned Books Week Facebook page.

Some Banned Books I've Read Without Even Knowing They Were Censored
* Wait Till Helen Comes
* Adventures of Huckleberry Fin
* Harry Potter
* Catcher in the Rye (I loath this book, by the by)
* Lord of the Flies
* Lysistrata
* A Light in The Attic
* The Lord of the Rings - was burned publicly by a church who declared it Satanic
* James and the Giant Peach
Hi Chriss!
Great coverage on your blog! Thanks for sharing ! And I hope people will hop on over to your blog, More Vikings to check it out! I made a note of Wait til Helen Comes!

Loved the post Starazerpuj! I did not realize how much book banning existed in India. Thanks for sharing!
I wrote a blog post about my own experience with my child and a banned book, along with a list of some expected and a few unexpected banned children's books.

Great post! I loved the way you handled the Babar book! If only all parents would care enough to be involved in what their children were reading!
I was going to post about it, but didn't think anyone knew about it, WHOOPS! But, I'm still reading and reviewing books for Banned Book Week.

There is still time! :-) I see on your Fall reading list TTYl, which I wasn't really sure about after seeing it on the Banned Books list, but now I'm putting in on my TBR list- thought the idea of a whole book written in instant messages would be interesting!
Ha ha :) Yeah, I don't really know. I'm gonna try reading it anyway.
I'm posting a favorite banned book each day of the week. I haven't put up Tuesdays yet...
I'm glad to see all the Banned Books Week coverage! Chronicles of Narnia is a great series to highlight too! I'll be stopping by to check out the rest of the week too! Thanks for sharing!
