Recently I've gotten a few reviews comparing my work to that of Diana Gabaldon and Susanna Kearsley.  Althought not all the reviews were positive I was very flattered to be even mentioned in the same sentence as those two authors.  After further consideration though, I wasn't so thrilled.  Is it beneficial or detrimental to be compared to Best-selling authors who have been out there writing for a quarter of a century when I have published my first novel less than a year ago.  I must admit it's a little intimidating. What do you guys think?
