Blog Hits

I write a blog using blogger. I currently have around 30 followers, but I am constantly hearing people mention their blogs getting 'hits'. I am guessing that if you get a hit, someone has visited you're website, but not necessarily followed it. How can I view how many hits I get on my blog ?

Just click on 'stats'  It has all the info.  For instance, it said today I had 48 visitors, and yesterday 2 comments.

Go to dashboard on blogger... on the list of blogs you own, look for the blog whose hits/traffic you want to know... close to the name of blog, there will be option titled "stats"... just click there and you will get detailed information about traffic on your blog.

if you have pageviews on your site it will tell you how many altogether who have come to read your blog. Stats on your main page when you log in will tell you how many hits were there that day. I've also found out that the more you have on there for people to come and read the better. I don't always get the same amount of hits everyday.

Melissa - it's definitely a good idea to sign up for Google Analytics. It's a service run by google that collects stats about your website/blog. There are pretty simple instructions for setting it up, and it will give you a whole range of information, including how many people are visiting your site. A really useful tool.
