Hello, fellow bookworms!
I was hoping that since you all seem very intelligent, and interested in literature in general, you might mosy on over to my website. I need an opinion, as well as some help letting the world know that I am out there, so it would be great if you all could check it out and tell me what you think. Thanks!

I like it, personally. It's clean, it's simple and easy on the eyes (However I'm a minimalist when it comes to websites I don't like chunky graphics, lots of flash widgets that sort of thing)

I think you did a wonderful job. :)
thanks :) i'm that way myself, generally.
I think your content looks great, however, the grayish font on the stark white background is very eye straining. Maybe if you could darken the font it would be good. Other then that, it looks good!
thanks :)
I like the blog. It's nice looking and relatively easy to read. I think you should switch to a sans-serif font, however (like the one that this website uses). It's easier to read online, I think.

Your blog would get more traffic if you reviewed new releases, rather than classics that have been around forever. You can go to your new releases section of the public libray and get the newest books out there and post your reviews on your blog. If you post a lot and post on Amazon, too, in about a year people will start sending books to you for free. That's how people become top reviewers and get lots of freebies. They might not get paid (althogh some of them do) and they gets lots of nice perks.
I just noticed a couple things.

In Firefox it shows the two columns as 50/50% of the screen. You may want to make the right hand column be 25-30% of the screen which gives you more text area for your blog posts.

Also adding an archive may help when you start to have more and more articles ( you can't post them all on your main page :P )
