Book Bloggers and Publishers Online Conference

Hello to all you fellow bloggers.
I am organizing an online Conference for bloggers, publishers and others working online to promote books March 19-20 with an authors day the 21st.  I would love input from bloggers on what you would like to hear the publishers and other bloggers talk about.

Publishers Attending
Simon and Schuster, Dorchester, Liquid Silver Books, Lyrical Press, The Wild Rose Press,
Eternal Press, Midnight Showcase Fiction, and more.  There are industry
professionals like literary agent Lori Perkins, Tiffany James the
director of the awesomely exciting RomCon Convention

My site is pretty romance driven, but I would love all book bloggers, welcome all genre readers and authors, and if you think it is an interesting idea tell your friends who blog- cause it is impossible to find everyone on my own.  :)  More info can be found on my site here  - http://www.romanceinthebackseat.com/bbpcon.html

Thanks everyone
Terry Kate

This sounds very interesting! I'm looking forward to it because than I can get an idea of how other book bloggers are doing their thing as well as how we can work with publishers with reviews and so on.
Chat Room Tonight about the Book Bloggers and Publishers Online Conference - join us - ask questions and brainstorm. http://www.romanceinthebackseat.com/chat.htm - 8:30 - 10:30 pm EST
Hope to see you there,

I'm new to Book Blogs so I'm not sure how to use it just yet but I saw this post and am very interested in hearing more...I'm the Promotions Manager for a small independent publisher called Accomplice Press. As a small full service press we believe that book bloggers are the future of our industry.

We are launching a new book line called Curvalicious (PR goes out Friday at 10:30 am) and I'd love to share the details with you. We are hosting a writing competition to kick it off. It is a romance based line, with short novella length stories featuring plus-size heroines. Can you email me more info? kjones@accomplicepress.com
What a fantastic idea. I started my blog, which has now expanded beyond books, by writing book reviews from the heart and in ways that they relate to my own experience and my thoughts. To date I have 71 extensive book reviews and I am thrilled to be part of your conference, in whatever capacity I may.. And in fact, I am running a book contest to promote the LOVE OF BOOKS and READING!!! ........Thank you Terry!!!
Farnoosh,

That is awesome - I think expanding beyond books is a great idea because it can bring people in who might not be online searching for books. We need to reach out as much as we can and make potential book blog readers aware that we are out there. I hope you will register and join us.

I think this is great! I'm happy to participate!
Fabulous idea. Im signed up.

Thank you for the invitation.

My blog is primarily Jane Austen related history-but book reviews of newly published books play a big part of my concept (though in a quite specialised area, it has to be admitted).

Can't wait for the event to begin-even with the time difference ;-)
