Book Guidelines - Feedback Please

I'm not trying to take over the forum, honest :)

I just drafted review guides and would love some feedback. Did I miss anything, is it too general...anything to help. THANKS! (Don't forget to leave your link so I can check out your blogs!)

BOOK REVIEW POLICY

Contact

No unsolicited books. Please email me at [e-mail] to tell me about your book. This is a niche blog and I am selective about the books I review. Please provide the following information

• Genre (Fiction/nonfiction)
• Sub-genre re ex: memoire, biography, historical account etc.
• Summary of book
• How it relates to my theme (see below)
• Any ‘extras’ requested as part of review (Interview, blog tour etc.)

Any request which shows that these guidelines were not careful read will be declined.

Genre and Subject (Themes)

My blog is primarily for non-fictionbooks. Specifically, one of the main topics or themes of the books has to be:

• Tourism & Travel
• Geography
• Exploration/Mapmaking
• Culture & Cultural Anthropology
• History

I will consider literary and historical fiction with these themes. I will not review genre fiction (Sci-Fi, YA etc.). I love genre fiction as much as the next person, but my blog is not the place for those reviews.

Turnaround Time

I review in the order I find new books, whether I buy them, get them as ARCS or from author/publishers. I will strive to review books within two months of receiving them. If I expect it will take longer, I will let you know.

Promotions

This blog is new, so as yet I have not held blog tours or give always. However, once I establish a following, I will take part and run such promotional activities on my blog.

I will post links to reviews on social networking sites to which I belong.

Interviews
Yes. I enjoy learning about authors and am willing to do interviews.

Review Postings
In addition to my blog, I post reviews on Goodreads and Library Thing. I may also post them on online bookstores and other appropriate sites.

I will contact the author/publish (or other appropriate persons) when the review is posted.
