Well, I have two blogs one is predominantly reviews the other is my personal blog with a healthy amount of book talk and reviews.
Sometimes, I link to my reviews in forums, or mention them on twitter and facebook, but mostly I just work on cultivating readership of my blog so that each review gets seen. :)
A-ha. This explains all those sign ups at herebereviews.com at the beginning of the month. Anyone who submitted and has not yet been added: I'm working on it. I'm really busy this month so I'm a bit more behind that usual.
I just read and review. On my MySpace I have a headline banner and then I just comment all over the place! Took a little while but it seems to be picking up more traffic.I also review books for ParaNormal Romance.org.
Wisteria, your advice about including your blog URL, website URL, and Twitter follow URL in emails, business cards, and every piece of paper that leaves your office, is very helpful. It is such wonderful advice that it's often overlooked for its elegant simplicity and ease of use.
I have recommended the same simple no work practice for years. I've heard from many business people, authors, and reviewers about how they received traffic from those simple email links and from the URLs being on their business cards and stationary.
