Call for authors (blog series) - Indie Authors Reading Indie Authors

I plan to run a 6 part series from the beginning of August until mid-September.

This series is on indie authors who read and review books from other indie authors. I am asking authors to submit short answers to 6 different sub-topics/questions and I will post all the answers for each question as one part of the series (ex. all answers to question one will be in the first post, all answers to question 2 in the second post, etc.). I am also interested in having 2 or 3 authors to do a full guest post as part of the series, either an article or a full review for one of the books you've read and would like to promote.

If you are an indie author that reads and reviews (or promotes) other indie authors' books and you are interested in participating please email me at:

erikadlugo AT yahoo DOT com

and I will send you the questions to answer. You do not have to commit to answer every single question. You can choose which ones to answer if some of them don't interest you or do not apply to your situation.

This could be a great way to promote your own website or book. If you have any questions please feel free to comment here or email me.

This sounds like a really cool idea.  I'm working on my first novel, would it still be okay to participate or would you rather have authors with books out there?

Hi Libby,

Oh great. I'm glad you like the idea. That's fine with me, as long as you consider yourself an author! Although, the questions are very much slanted towards those with their book already out there. Just leave the questions blank or explain what you plan on doing for those that don't quite apply to yet. Email me at the address above and I will send you the questions.

Top Ten UK Books… coming in April 2015

Every month, we get together to come up with a top-ten list of the UK titles we’re most looking forward to – and this month we’re focusing on books published in April 2015. It’s an eclectic mix this month, with two SF titles – Poseidon’s Wake and The Rebirths of Tao – which I would highly […]
