Can you help me please?

I have a new blog, Book Garden Review. I am trying to keep my blog easy on the eyes and non cluttered. Would anyone mind checking it out and letting me know what you think? Also I have a poll up, do bloggers usually do polls?

It looks fine.  Just one suggestion: On your list of books that you've reviewed, ignore the word "the" in the title and alphabetize the book under the next word.  For instance, The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo would be under "G."  I think it makes it easier to find things and "T" won't get so cluttered.

And one correction: On your poll- Suspence should be Suspense!

It looks good, very pretty. Only thing I would recommend is a slighter larger font.

Looks great, I would do a slightly darker contrasting font to the background and like Sonia said, a bit larger font. Other then that, fantastic!

I agree with the others. The font in the main column should be a little darker (and possibly larger, but maybe that would be solved already with just another color). 

As for the poll, if you hadn't mentioned it I would have missed it since it is at the very bottom of the sidebar. Assuming that a poll is something recent and won't stay up forever I would put it further to the top so readers notice it immediately. 

 

Apart from that I like the organiozation and the non-cluttered look.

It looks nice.  Easy to navigate and read.  My only suggestion would be: content!  The more you read and review, the fuller your site will be with good content and attract people.  

 

As for polls, some do and some don't.  I've done a facebook poll before, but not on my blog.
