I have only been blogging for three months. I have close to 5,000 page views but nobody ever leaves a comment ....maybe I have had six comments. I've tried posting questions but get very little response.My blog is Joyce's Choices at http://jssherr.blogspot.com

Hi Joyce! I am a fairly new book blogger myself, so I totally understand that lonely feeling.

I think that a lot of the times, you just have to expose yourself to the right crowd. Perhaps there are some people who are following, but not really interested in your posts. Aim more for readers who write in your style or area of interest. Do a lot of hopping around, and comment on other bloggers' blogs, but ones that are similar to yours. Make sure to link yourself so they can find you!

I checked out your blog, and it was wonderful! However, I would suggest to keep your posts short. Chop them up so you can blog more frequently, but in small bites at a time. Sometimes, seeing a super long post is very intimidating, and many people won't read through all of it and find something to relate to and comment. Ask your reader questions directly, too, so they can relate and answer!!

Also, I agree, Memes are really great! Take any ones that you like and link it on the host page, and that will be sure to bring in a couple of comments! Good luck with this!
