Bid Time Return, by Richard Matheson. It was the book that the movie Somewhere in Time was based on. The first couple of chapters are kind of a chore to get through, but overall the read is well worth the initial trudging. The book is actually something of an anomaly re: the rest of Matheson's titles. He was the author of What Dreams May Come, Stir of Echo's, I am Legend, and Hell House (to name a few). But somehow, horror connoisseur that I am, Bid Time Return made me cry. And Somewhere in Time makes me cry every time I watch it.
The Reader by Bernhard Schlink. I cried through most of it actually. Such a haunting novel, but totally brilliant and beautiful despite it's content matter.
The first that came to my mind:A walk to remember,2.Summer of my German soldier,3.The kite runner,4.1000 splendid suns, Me and Emma,Bastard out of Carolina ,definitely "a Child called it', and several more.
Its Angela Ashes. Also My Sisters Keeper and The Good Earth.
I love books about American small town life. Can you guys recommend some.

The Book Thief by Markus Zusak made me weep. Before I read it, I remember how so many bloggers said it made them cry. Well I was determined not to cry when I read it. But I got to this certain part and cried so hard. It's a great book.
Another book that made me cry was The Geography of Love by Linda Burgess. It's a memoir about Burgess's life with her husband and their fight against his cancer. It's another great read.
Oh, animals lovers will adore "Sight Hound" by Pam Houston. A woman's dog is dying of cancer and the story is told from multiple points of view including the dog in question, the other dog in the house, the cat, etc. It's powerful and awesome. And please note the raffle I'm holding in reference to my own new novel that supports Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. The winner's pet will become a character in the next book in the series: www.redhotnovel.com
Okay...*gulp*...dare I admit to crying over The Bridges of Madison County??? I also cried over the last two chapters of The God of Small Things by Arhundati Roy though, so I think I'm okay still, right? :)
