Contacting Followers via the Google Network
Hi everyone! Question on Google Emailing followers if you don't mind.
I have a Followers Contest on my blog right now to try and gain followers. It is an easy contest because all the people have to do is follow my blog. Each time I go up 25 people, I have been giving away a $25 Amazon Gift Card.
The first person who won, I was able to contact because they were a friend from Goodreads. However the second person who won, I didn't know them. So I sent them an email by clicking on their name from my blog's Google Follower list. I sent them an email to let them know that they won but I have never heard back.
I am only 5 more Google Followers away from giving out another $25 Gift Card but I was suspicious of that Google email link so I tested it out by sending 2 of my friends test emails. They never got them.
So this lack of email connectivity concerns me. Am I doing something wrong? Is this a known issue? Does anyone else experience this problem of not being able to get Google Followers to recieve emails? I hate to run a contest and then never let the people know that they won.
