Contacts and advice on Websit/Blog layout and Admin.

I'm struggling with admin on my authorscribe website/Blog. Does anyone have any contacts or advice on how to layout the site properly? Everyone else's site looks so professional and I'm desperate for help.

I'm not sure how authorscribe website/Blog works, but on blogger you need to click on Design up the top which will ask for your email (username) and password. When logged in to this bland looking page called 'Your blog' Template, click on the Template tab to choose a style and on the Layout tab to arrange your page (all tabs on the left-hand side). Hopefully this helps, good luck.

Thanks very much for the advice. I'm just starting on blogger now though. The admin panel looks easier and more straightforward I think. I just looked at your page and your books look brilliant! Post your blog, Twitter, FB etc and I will follow you.

Hi there :)

First of all. I just started a new blog a month or two ago.

Actually that's a lie. I started my first blog ages ago and because I didn't know how to do get followers etc, I abandoned it. So I started a new one.

In blogger, you have to play around with the buttons.

You make a header for your blog, fill in all the information in your contact pages, etc and get a background from somewhere like Shabbyblogs.

You fill in all your blog details. Then when it looks prettier you post discussions etc and like other peoples blogs and follow theirs, and you get more followers. At least, this is what I've figured out these past couple of months.

I use Intuit.com for my web hosting.  They have some very nice, professional website templates that I use.  Best of all, they are very customizable.  For example, I replaced their "logo" image with the five heraldic banners you see here (one jpg).  I don't use any of the template photos, actually, except if you count the line divider between my navigation menu on the left and the rest of my content.
