Hi,
I recently started blogging and would like to put a rating system for my book reviews (i.e 3/5 stars). But I'm not really sure if there is some sort of template or widget or something I should be using because just putting pictures (of stars) in at the end of a blog post doesn't look as nice as I've seen ratings look on other blogs. So I was wondering if anyone had any tips on how to put a rating system in your blog; is it just pictures or is like a badge/widget/button?
Thanks!

As far as I know you just put picture of stars (or whatever you want to use) for your rating system. If you wanted to spend a bit of money, there are some designers out there who can make you a personal rating system designed for your blog.

Thanks! I think I'll try the pictures things then :)
Oh, actually it's quite simple. You choose an image that you like, be it a cupcake, a heart, a star, a mushroom or even a tiny girl (something not too complex & best if related to your blog theme). Then, duplicate it and label your system.
For example, one mushroom means too sour for words. Two mushrooms mean taste good on a rainy day. Three mushrooms, I like it... So on and so forth.
You can take a look at my rating system here :) I used the conventional star system.
Hope this helps!

choose a picture( anything you want, may it be a cupcake, a tiny book and etc.) as long as you like it..
and if you're not satisfied with it then you can edit pictures in photoshop/ photoscape, that's what I did :))

Check out Blogovation Design. They do stuff like that :)
