Since this is a community on blogging about books I was wondering what everyone is currently reading and blogging about. I love to find new authors and books that others are reading and loving, so I'll start with what I'm currently reading.

I'm currently reading Promise of the Rose by Brenda Joyce.

I'm reading a book that I helped to edit - a reprint (with updates) of The Meyersco Helix by Andrew McCoy.

I'm reading The Invisible Bridge  by Julie Orringer.  

I was in the University bookshop a couple of weeks ago - looking for something different to read - and picked this one off the shelf.  

Set in Paris 1937, a moving tale of Andras Levi who arrives from Budapest to study architecture at a time when the world was already changing for the worse.  I'm almost half way through the book at the moment and am dreading what will happen next in his life and to those around him.  It's beautifully written and takes the reader straight to the centre of Paris with a love story which I am sure will break my heart as I move towards the conclusion.

I just finished The Department of Magic. If you are into UF it might be worth the read. I just posted a review last night if anyone wants to check it out. Now I'm on to an Anne Rice book.
