Since this is a community on blogging about books I was wondering what everyone is currently reading and blogging about. I love to find new authors and books that others are reading and loving, so I'll start with what I'm currently reading.

I'm currently reading Promise of the Rose by Brenda Joyce.

I've finished reading "Hunting Ground" by Patricia Briggs, "Servant: The Kindred" by L.L. Foster and "Time for Eternity" by Susan Squires.

I'm currently reading "Storm Cycle" by Iris Johansen & Roy Johansen.

I'm currently reading The Fidelity Files by Jessica Brody and e-book Storm Swept by Linda Palmer (ARC out 12/15/09).

I have just started The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger, so far it's interesting but not really pulling me in. I have been told it's a slow start but well worth the effort. I just finished A Short History of Tractors in Ukrainian by Marina Lewycka, a clever engaging writing style that I found to be refreshing and Still Alice by LIsa Genova, excellent read (reviewed this on one my site)

Have started City of Thieves by David Benioff - so far, it's looking good!

The premise was a little far fetched at times, but I still loved this book, an emotionally satisfying read. I love it when an author hits just the right note with friendship and bonding. We reviewed it on our site.

I'm currently reading "Dead and Gone" by Charlaine Harris.

I'm reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon. I'm on Dragonfly in Amber. I'm also reading two writing books. I alternate the "useful" reading with the pleasure reading. I also alternate with other books in between the books in the series. They're hefty books and it's nice to have a break and make them last longer too. They're so good that it's almost like a reward to get to come back to them.
