Since this is a community on blogging about books I was wondering what everyone is currently reading and blogging about. I love to find new authors and books that others are reading and loving, so I'll start with what I'm currently reading.

I'm currently reading Promise of the Rose by Brenda Joyce.

I'm currently reading Evermore by Alyson Noël and the e-books Angel's Fire, Demon's Blood by Tamela Quijas and Where the Rain is Made by K. Celeste Bryan.
You Can Run... by Carlene Thompson.
I'm reading Final Seconds by John Lutz - my first by him.
I am reading Words In Your Face A Guided Tour Through Twenty Years of the New York City Poetry Slam by Cristin O'Keefe Aptowicz. This is mostly history, there is very little poetry. There are a lot of interesting interviews: Maggie Estep, Bob Holman, Felice Bell, and others. Plus, the book writes about the performance spaces as well.
I'm currently reading Promises in Death by J.D. Robb and the e-books Angel's Fire, Demon's Blood by Tamela Quijas and Where the Rain is Made by K. Celeste Bryan.
I have bookmarks in multiple books (per usual). Right now, they include: The Far Pavilions by M.M. Kaye, The Big Rock Candy Mountain by Wallace Stegner, Kristin Lavransdatter II: The Mistress of Husaby by Sigrid Undset, and Outcasts United by Warren St. John. I am working my way through the latter book faster than the others but that is because I'm reading it for review.
This weekend, I am going to start Lisa Jackson's MALICE.
I just started reading Confessions of a Jane Austen Addict today. I'm also reading Practical Theology for Women by Wendy Alsup, Montessori at Home, and Practicing Hospitality.
The Rise and Fall of the British Empire
by Lawrence James

Because I love history and hate imperialism
I'm just about ot finish up reading White as Snow by Tanith Lee, and starting Under the Jaguar Sun by Italo Calvino
I'm currently reading The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.
I'm reading Watership Down, by Richard Adams, but it's going to be slow going, as I have a deadline in one week and loads of promo to do.

A friend asked me the other night what the book was about. Just a couple of chapters in, I said I couldn't really judge yet, but it seemed kind of like Lord of the Rings, with bunnies!
