Since this is a community on blogging about books I was wondering what everyone is currently reading and blogging about. I love to find new authors and books that others are reading and loving, so I'll start with what I'm currently reading.

I'm currently reading Promise of the Rose by Brenda Joyce.

Right now I'm almost finished with A House in Fez by Suzanna Clarke...its been really good I was surprised to be so interested in it because she has so many descriptions of building and searching for materials but it also has some good bits on Moroccan culture. Highly recommend!!!

I'm reading Voices Under Berlin a historical fiction that promises to be a cold war era M*A*S*H style book. So far it reminds me more of Catch-22. I realize that's probably splitting hairs. Nonetheless I am enjoying it. It's by T.H.E. Hill.

I just finished reading Fool's Gold Why The Internet Is No Substitute for a Library by Mark Y. Herring. A very interesting contrarian viewpoint on libraries.

I like Brenda Joyce myself. I just finished Mary Balogh's First Comes Marriage, which I enjoyed very much. I'm ready to start the second novel in this series, Then Comes Seduction. I really enjoy historical romance set in the Regency era.
In fact I just signed with Five Star/Gale to publish my first novel set in that era.

THE DROWNING POOL, new romantic mystery from Five Star/Gale
THE INFERO COLLECTION, Five Star hardcover, Wheeler large print
