Since this is a community on blogging about books I was wondering what everyone is currently reading and blogging about. I love to find new authors and books that others are reading and loving, so I'll start with what I'm currently reading.

I'm currently reading Promise of the Rose by Brenda Joyce.

I have a couple books which I am interested in reading in a little bit, Alice Fantastic by Maggie Estep and The Wind Up Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi. I am currently reading The Cost of Bad Behavior How Incivility Is Damaging Your Business and What To Do About It by Christine Pearson and Christine Porath.

I am almost at the end of" Taking Stock" by C.J.West. The best one of his 3 novels as far as I am concern.

The Pillars of the Earth, by Ken Follett - not exactly intellectually challenging, but the man knows how to tell a story!

I just finished reading the "Joust" series by Mercedes Lackey. It was well done and alot of fun to read,I recommend it to everyone who enjoys dragons and fantasy.

I just finished The Dead Girls' Dance (Morganville Vampires 2) by Rachel Caine. Currently, I'm reading Bloodline by Kate Cary and Midnight Alley (Morganville Vampires 3) by Rachel Caine. Stop by my blog for reviews!

I just started a non-fiction book called Over the Gap by David Patterson. Mr. Patterson is a career coach and the book deals with career search not only for those new to the job market, but for those who find themselves downsized later in life. This is so timely for today's job market. I'm a little "older" and remember when employees would spend their whole lives working for one company, but that has changed over the years. So far I am very impressed with the book.

I am reading The Windup Girl by Paolo Bacigalupi. This is a different kind of science fiction with strong social commentary. It is a dark future where giant agribusiness companies control the food supply with crop plagues and genetically tailored seeds.
