Since this is a community on blogging about books I was wondering what everyone is currently reading and blogging about. I love to find new authors and books that others are reading and loving, so I'll start with what I'm currently reading.

I'm currently reading Promise of the Rose by Brenda Joyce.

I like Brenda Joyce myself. I just finished Mary Balogh's First Comes Marriage, which I enjoyed very much. I'm ready to start the second novel in this series, Then Comes Seduction. I really enjoy historical romance set in the Regency era.
In fact I just signed with Five Star/Gale to publish my first novel set in that era.

I've finished with LOST Ate My Life and have moved on to Santa Olivia by Jacqueline Carey.

I just finished a funny book, not a novel. It is called "The View from a One-Man World" by J.S. Buckingham. It is very candid, politically incorrect, and a hilarious take on our society's woes. It would make a great stand-up comedy act. I found the book refreshingly amusing and entertaining.
