Since this is a community on blogging about books I was wondering what everyone is currently reading and blogging about. I love to find new authors and books that others are reading and loving, so I'll start with what I'm currently reading.

I'm currently reading Promise of the Rose by Brenda Joyce.

I just finished Katherine of Aragon by Jean Pleady. I haven't picked anything else up yet, but loved this book and am sad that I am done with it.

I've always loved Pride and Prejudice, read and reread it many times. In the Regency spirit, I've just completed the first novel in a trilogy by Mary Balogh, one of my favorite writers. The book is called First Comes Marriage. I very much enjoyed this book and will now read the second one in the series.

My husband and I also both read two of Joseph Wambaugh's novels recently: Hollywood Station and Hollywood Crows. No one writes better about L.A. police than he does, very authentic. Good stuff!

I am always reading more than one thing at a time. Ok, ok, to be honest, never less than 4 at a time. I'm a glutton like that. :) Right now I am reading Beloved by Toni Morrison, Memoirs of Jane Austen, Coffee with the Buddha by Joan Duncan Oliver, and Matrimony by Joshua Henkin. I'm currently reading Never Say Sty by Linda O. Johnston and the e-book Mind Games by Cecilia Tan.
