Since this is a community on blogging about books I was wondering what everyone is currently reading and blogging about. I love to find new authors and books that others are reading and loving, so I'll start with what I'm currently reading.
I'm currently reading Promise of the Rose by Brenda Joyce.

The problem with Lee Child is that he can't write his books as fast as I can read them. His Jack Reacher series is among my current favorites ---but I've read them all ---waiting impatiently for the next one.
Since I work in a publishing company (Hachette Book Group), I ALWAYS have something to read (I am not exaggerating), but I am not complaining because I do love to read. I also get books from other people to read, as well.
Currently, I should say I'm reading 3 books.
For the kitchen: The Flavor Bible by Karen Page and Andrew Dornenburg (Little, Brown)
This isn't a cook book, but it sure as heck is the best book about cooking I've ever read. It's a library of ingredients and what tastes great with it. So, for example, you happen to have some chicken in your freezer and you don't know what to do with it, you can look up "chicken" and it will give you a ton of food and herbs that will go well with it, so the book inspires you to be creative in the kitchen, as well as be adventurous with flavors.
For my fantasy fix: The Ruins of Ambrai by Melanie Rawn
Epic; extensive narration; marathon read.
For music appreciation: The Enjoyment of Music by Kristine Forney
Don't ask why I'm reading it. It's interesting in parts. I'm learning a lot and I've a new perception of certain classical pieces, particularly works that have been overused by pop culture. Rather cleanses the palatte.
I am currently finishing Stephen Frey's Takeover, its is a Wall street suspense Novel. A change of pace from what I am use to. For the most part I have been reading spy Novels : Brad Thor- Ted Bell- Lee Child. I have also been read a prehistoric Indian series called People of The _____ . Each blank is different and the geographic region each book occurs
is different. My next in this series is Book 5 People of The Sea. This book is set in Califorina.
I'm going to start reading Crowdsourcing: Why the Power of the Crowd Is Driving the Future of Business by Jeff Howe. It seems like an interesting book.
