Dewey's 24 Hour Read-A-Thon April 21 (Are you participating)

Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon is around the corner and I'm so excited to participate.  This is my third time participating and I still think is is one of the best events around.  I look forward it to it every time.

So for all of you... are you joining in?  What are you reading?

For those of you who have done it before what would be your biggest tips?

To those of you don't know, Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-thon is a reading challenging where everyone takes one day to read for 24 hours (or as much as you can).  There are updates, mini-challenges, and prizes.

This will be the second time I participate. I won't be able to read as much as last time, because I have exams now, but I hope to get a bit of reading done.

I have exams around the corner as well.  It's my incentive to study really hard this week.  It's kind of the one book event I really commit to.

I'll add your blog to my readathon list so I can check in on you during the event.

You can go to 24readathon.com and sign up for the event.  This connects you with all the other readers who will be participating.  People can stop by and say hello and cheer you on.  I find that having a twitter during the event is extra fun (and extra distracting).

I don't know where it says that but it is definitely on the 21st.  Here's a link to the sign-up post, which says the 21st.  There may be some old stuff up there that hasn't been taken down yet or something.  It happens twice a year.  Always in October and April.  Are you going to sign up?

Grandpa died and I inherrited a box of like, 42 microwave bags or something. So no cost there... Raman is prefered but at 33 cents a bag.... not exactly as cheep as it was once upon a year ago....
