[Reading For Sanity]

I clicked on the link and it was for one of those unending pop-up scanner things that tells you things are wrong with your computer and makes you afraid to press "yes" "no" or "cancel" because you can't tell which button will close everything.  Did anyone else have that problem?

Thank you for posting this, I was stopped from opening it by my antivirus, telling me that clicking the link would infect my computer.  I sent a message to ask the moderators to remove it, but it is still in "featured discussions," I don't understand why nothing has been done about this.

My antivirus software stopped it too, I wasn't sure if it was just my antivirus being touchy or not so I stayed away just to be on the safe side! Thanks for the input, hopefully it will be removed soon!

Got to admit I was surprised with all the people posting about the virus checker results in the thread that it was still around anyway.

I agree with you David.  I thought the administrators would have deleted the forum because of the virus issues!!

That happened to me, too. I was scared it had already messed up my computer but I ran a virus check that came back clean... Can't the thread be taken down? I'd hate to think that more people have this problem and potentially have to pay to fix their computers.

My browser told me it was an attack page, so I didn't click all the way through. Good information! Have you reported the person who started that discussion? The admins need to delete that discussion and probably cancel her membership, if she's using the forums to send people viruses.
