Do pictures add anything to a book?

May I introduce a new site, www.bookdrum.com, that enables you to add images, video, maps and music to your review and analysis of a book. We use a system of bookmarks, so you can add page-by-page notes to any passage of interest in the original text. What does a place look like? How do you make that traditional dish? What route are they taking? What does that piece of music they're listening to sound like?
We've built Book Drum as an interactive site where anyone can write about a favorite book. Please come and visit - and if you like what we're doing please take part in the $3,000 Book Drum Tournament.
