E-readers

I'm curious about readers who've recently purchased an e-reader. If you've purchased one recently, are you happy with it? Do you find yourself reading it more than actual books? Also, is it a back-lit device (like the Nook Color or iPad) or an e-ink device (like Kindle)?

Yes, the nookColor is not an eReader, it doesn't use the e-Ink and eScreen technologies.

i've had my nook for about a year now and am in love with it!!!! it's so convenient, light and fits everywhere. i love that i can get books whenever i'd like, you get a free book every friday, their are newbie writers that introduce their books in pub it and they are totally affordable! i also love that i can share books with other nooksters :)

I received an iPad for Christmas but I keep finding steals-for-deals in the form of paperbacks and hard covers at estate sales so I'm not reading exclusively on the eReader. Meanwhile I prefer the eBook format because I can read in bed with the light off (so my husband doesn't grumble at me for getting light in his eyes).

The iPad is back-lit and I love how I can increase the font size when I get sleepy-blurred vision.
