Hi everyone, old and new!

 

I wanted to post a couple of tips here for those of you who are new to Blogger (Blogspot).  When you are in your Dashboard, where you can see how many followers you have, who has posted up what... you'll have all sorts of options.  Click on "Design".  You'll see a rough outline of how your blog is set up.  By clicking on "Add a Gadget" you can add the follow button, a FaceBook badge (if you are on facebook) and all sorts of neat little things.  It is far easier to follow a blog that has a button than it is to look for the word FOLLOW on your page.  Lots of people go straight for the posts and that word link up at the top disappears as you are scrolling down.  There is also a link in the "Design" area that says "Template Designer" which, of course, allows you to change the layout of your blog, your background, your font for your headline and all that.  I know a lot of people don't have time to mess around on the internet, but play around with it when you can and add what you want.  You can always remove things if you don't like it.

Interesting post.  I too find it hard to find followers, even though people tell me my blog is interesting.  I have just changed the blogspot address but I have the same content - it is www.mochirajackson.blogspot.com.
