Hi. I'm working on a crime manuscript. I'm on the second draft and have written it in third person so far. However, I've noticed that many crime or thriller novels are written in the first person. I feel that it gives you more control over the writing and as a reader I find it more personeable.
Does anyone have any thoughts or advice on this?
Thanks!

If you have one main character and it is more beneficial to get inside their heads, then go with first person. Or you can switch from first to third every few chapters.

Thanks to everyone for the comments. After your comments, research and persona thought I'm going to go with third person. I really enjoy the ability to jump from character to character when dealing with a mystery.

Hi Engelia
I like to write in the third, but I did write a series in the first and found it a lot more difficult. Third is my first preference. I would say go with what you feel is most natural for you. :)
