Gathering info on Anthologies

I generally have trouble when it comes to anthologies. I never know when to read a story; is is set in the same world as a series? If I haven't read the series yet, will it spoil something? What order should I read these stories in?

Because of this, I thought I would try and gather information about the short stories/novellas by authors in anthologies. Work out the order, between which books they should be read, and in which anthologies the stories can be found. Being a fantasy fan, I'm mainl focusing on high/urban fantasy anthologies, but this kind of info could help everyone out.

If you're at all particular about reading an author's short stories in order, and have any info on the timelines that would help, I'd be very grateful if you could let me know. Email is preferred (joannestapley[at]googlemail[dot]com) but comments on here are fine too.

So far I have Charlaine Harris' Southern Vampire Mysteries sorted, Jeaniene Frost's short stories, Melissa Marr's, Kim Harrison's Rachel Morgan/The Hallows series, and bits and pieces of Vicki Pettersson and Caitlin Kittredge. Any ifno you could give me about any author would be helpful. Cheers!
