Has anyone read the Strongbow Saga series by Judson Roberts

I think I'm going to add them to my ever growng to be read pile. They are YA/adult historical fiction. My son read the first of the series, loved it and just read the other two novels THIS WEEK. I was astonished, I've never seen him devour books like that! I've contacted the author to see if he'll do an online interview-fingers crossed :)
