I am new to this site and have no idea how it works. I joined because I am interested in getting reviews and blogs on my book. the book of james, an ebook in the mystery suspense genre.  I am also interested in reading reading/joining other blogs/

Hi.  I have joined a little while ago and have gotten a very warm welcome and some good advice.  It's a good idea to find groups that cater to your genre and post your links there as well as ask them to review your work and promote it on their blogs.  Most people are very supportive and eager to help.

Welcome to Book Blogs. As Patricia and Irina have said, this is a great place to network with like minded people and to get reviews on your books. 

I joined a couple of groups - Authors Needing Reviews and Dedicated Book Reviewers where I'm sure you'll find folks who would be able to review your book.
