How Can I get readers to review my debut novel on Amazon

I am a thriller writer and my debut novel came out on Amazon last week. I noticed other authors get up to 20 instant reviews. I suspect many of them were genuine but also think they might be friends and family helping out. How can I get reviews without leaning on friends and family?

Any suggestions or info in posts here?

It seems to be a universal problem. I am finding some help from posts here.

and Amazon

you can ask book bloggers such as me and others to review your book

Hi all,

I'm also having trouble getting reviews for my latest book. Deadly Image is a Christian romantic suspense so finding the right market is proving a bit difficult. If anyone would be willing to read, review and post to Amazon I would appreciate it very much. I have PDF copies and a PRC kindle copy. Please contact me at tameliatumlin@gmail.com if you would be willing to review for me.  I'm not quite sure what is considered spam on here, so I won't post the blurb, but I will post a link to Amazon where you can read it if you are interested in reviewing it. I have PDF and PRC copies available for review.

Yes, yes, ask the review bloggers *points to self* Especially the ones with blogs focused on your kind of book. I post long, detailed reviews on my blog and condensed versions on Amazon and Goodreads (since customers can be impatient!)
