How do I become a book tour host?

Hello there. Just curious if anyone could help me about becoming a book tour host? I've only been blogging for a month, but am a dedicated blogger. I review mostly young adult and paranormal young adult novels. Any sites that I should look at to help me with this situation?

This is going to sound newbish. But what does ARC's mean? I am new to the who book review thing. I am actually trying to set up a blog JUST for book reviews, but I can't really think of a good name =(

no worries about being new, I'm still relatively new myself. ARC stands for Advance Reader Copy, sometimes authors or publishers will send you an ARC for you to review. Good luck with the name!

All you have to do is find other people who blog and get them to join with you.  You can create a badge so that others can attach it to their blog, and let your followers know about it.  Offer book giveaways, contests, author interviews, etc., and that will get people to check out your list of blogs.

I would contact the book tour sites: Bewitching Book Tours, Pump Up Your Novel, Goddess Fish Tours, and say you'd like to be a tour host.

Amber you should try bewitching book tours. I've only been blogging for a little over a month, and they accepted me. Plus they have a wide range of books for you to host. Happy reading :)

Thanks for the info on Bewitching Books. I went to their site a couple of days ago and filled in the form to become a tour host but haven't heard back from them. Do they answer via email or just send out a standard message to everyone when a new tour comes up?

I didn't even know I was accepted until they sent me an e-mail wanting me to host an author. So, the best idea is probably just wait. If you still haven't heard from them, maybe you could contact them. The person that contacts me is Roxanne Rhodes.
