How do you get the word out about giveaways?

Hey guys, just curious on how people get their word out about giveaways? The usual tweeting about it usually doesn't get much word out for me. I also added my giveaway on the meme hosted by Lori from Pure Imagination and Candace's Book Blog, Saturday Situation, but it hasn't been getting any attention. Is there a better way to get the word out?

Hey there! I do lots of things. First join some groups and list the giveaways on them. One of the best ways is to get a goodreads.com account and post an event about it. I tried to enter by leaving a comment but it wouldnt let me...could you add me in the contest please!

I had that same blogger issue, it seems to be fixed, you need to refresh your page when that happens.

I hate that blogger bug.. My followers and members keep disappearing.. makes it hard to join a site if you can't see where to join it.. grrrrrrr

Have you tried tweeting about your giveaways on Twitter? If you'd like to increase the number of entries, you may want to use some of the following Twitter hashtags:

#book
#win
#giveaway
#free
#bookgiveaway
#contest

There are more that you can use but these should give you a good start.
