Hello All,

I currently have TWO jobs and I am also working on a Master's Degree, so I have almost no time to blog. I could work on my blog through the night, but I would never get any rest. How often do you blog and how do you balance your life and blogging? I woud really like to blog more and promote my passion, but sometimes it is too much for me to handle.

XOXO,

Since my RL schedule is very unpredictable, I schedule all my blog posts. I don't know whether this schedule feature is available for Blogger users or not, but Wordpress has it. I schedule at a min. of 3 blog posts every week.
Yes, it's definitely available for Blogger as well, and it's an absolute must for me. I love being able to work on things when I have time, but still maintain a regular posting schedule :)
I also schedule my posts. I ensure there is at least one post a week but will add more if I can. I'm lucky as I work part-time so I use my days off to read.
Just do it when you can. We just started our family book review blog a couple weeks ago. We try to post a Children's book review each day or every other day, but I know once school starts again at the end of August we'll probably only post a couple times a week. For longer books, we only plan on posting when we're done with them, so once the summer is over, we probably won't be posting all that much. I really want to keep the book review blog just about books & not about other things in life (which I share on another blog), so I think we'll only be posting a couple times a week after summer is over. We have 2 daughters, my husband works full-time, and I'll be taking 20 credit hours in college in the fall.

My goal is to blog everyday and I have seen some traveling ideas for posting that are fun and hopefully don't take too much time (for instance, Teaser Tuesdays where you find a random page in the book you are currently reading and post a couple of sentences--but carefully so that you don't give away spoilers and ruin the book for others).  I am hoping that with those ideas I can keep enough movement on my blog so that people want to come visit.

Thanks for the motivation.

I'm pretty fortunate in that my job allows me a lot of free time to blog, but I also utilize my weekends and the scheduling post option... I have at least 3 posts a week, personally.

I am having the same issue! (2 jobs, college freshmen)

You learn how to balance it after  while though. Don't try to spread yourself thin. In between everything, do you have any time like an hour in between jobs? or maybe even a lunch break? You could use that time to catch up on a book or even write a few reviews. Since I take the bus everywhere I use that time to get my blog stuff completed. It is hard to find the spare time sometimes, but even harder to decide what to do with it.

Hope that helped!

I am very new, first time.  This is infact my first message or blog to someone.  Not sure what it is all about right now.
Seriously - my goal is to add two maximum per month.
I hear you. I have two jobs and am working on a PhD. I would like to blog more, but unfortunately, I only get to it about once a week. I do make sure that it is something of substance so people will want to share it. I also make sure to give it a bit of SEO so it will come up in Google searches.

Hello,

Wow, I think it is great that you are working towad your PhD. Blogging once a week seems attainable to me. I guess I had my hopes set to high. We can only do what we can, right?
