Hi!

I've had a book blog for a while now (nearly a year!) and I keep on looking around at many other book blogging sites and a lot of them seem to be reviewing ARC's and stuff, and I was wondering, Where do they get these ARC's? do they request publishers/authors for them? do they enter? I dont know, but I really would like to receive an ARC! so I was wondering, how do I get one?? Thank you so much!

Oh, one more thing, I've checked out a couple of sites that giveaway ARC's and stuff, but most of the ones I've found are for the US and Canada, which is a bummer, cause I live in Singapore. So, yeah, I need help for that too! and I only review YA and Teen books if that helps with your answer! Thank you (again) so much!

I won an ARC on Goodreads the other day.

I live in Malaysia, and what I've discovered is that some publishers choose not to send ARCs to these part of the world because of copyright issues (they need to protect their work!). You have a higher chance receiving finished copies. Just email the author/publisher and request for review copies.

Do you include your mailing address when asking  for ARCs or do you wait until you receive a reply stating whether you get the ARC or not?

I include my mailing address. Many publicists don't have the time to respond to each request for review copies. It helps them save time when you give your mailing address in the email.

Thank You! I'll have to start doing that.
